ABOUT US
The Hula San Village Dance Troupe represents the Polynesian community in Mississauga, Ontario and is led under the artistic direction of Glenn Samar Jr. The troupe provides dance lessons and entertainment from the native villages of Hawaii, Tahiti, Cook Islands, New Zealand, and Samoa in and around the Greater Toronto Area.
The troupe's objectives are to educate and entertain their audiences about the beauty of the South Pacific by sharing their passion and love for the Polynesian culture through dance.
Glenn formed the Hula San Village Dance Troupe in 2002. The foundation of the troupe is 'Ohana' meaning family, as the first four dancers were close relatives. Now that the troupe has grown their family values have not changed and every new student is added to their one big family. Client's can also experience 'Ohana' through friendly customer service.
The troupe members have amazed audiences through their performances ranging from private functions to corporate events in and around the Greater Toronto Area. They have been featured in many events that include the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE), Ontario Place, Filipino Fiesta at the Brampton Square, Vaughan In Action, and Toronto Pride.
All of their costumes are hand-made and consist of shells, flowers, leaves, and vibrant colors which are authentic to the Polynesian culture.
The Hula San Village Dance Troupe offers quality and professional services to deliver an attractive and exhilarating show that is sure to wow your guest.
Let the Hula San Village Dance Troupe take you on a journey to the South Pacific with a fun, exciting, and memorable experience!
